Re: 2019 AHL Draft Will Be Sat Sept 28th

Start time will be 12PM with the Farm Draft kicking things off as usual. Figure that the auction will start around 1:30 to 1:45 or so.

Is this the most up to date order we have?
There have been quite a few trades since this was done so it's not quite accurate any longer. I never bother making a list until after the trade deadline.

Re: New Waiver Wire FAB Details Discussion

I like everything Daniel laid out in the original post. I just have one question regarding this potential issue. Say we have 500 units. I bid 400 on Ron Francis, and 400 on Geoff Sanderson. At xx:xx pm on Sunday, Francis gets sent back down and I don't catch it in time. The program awards me Ron Fr...

If we all start with a huge number (lets say 100000) the chance of ties would be minimal right ?
Ties will most likely happen on 0 unit bids I think but yes the higher the number of units the less chance of there being any ties.

Re: New Waiver Wire FAB Details Discussion

I agree with John that it should be based on current standings because it's more accurate as to which teams are worse. A crappy team at the end of last year may have a bunch of farm players to call up and may improve at the auction and during the season making last years standings less representati...

Re: New Waiver Wire FAB Details Discussion

I would suggest that a tie bid be decided by the current standings at the time of the bid. Lowest team gets him As far as Daniel's suggestion for a stagger on opening bid units, I see merits either way but I lean towards everyone having an equal stack. the problem with giving the lowest team in the...
