Does that mean that any drops teams plan on making during the AHL draft (i.e. if they're picking their 21st player)... these should be announced by the roster freeze? That means if I have 17 skaters on my farm, not including Toews-call ups, and 4 picks, I'd have to announce my player to drop beforeh...

I agree with John that it should be based on current standings because it's more accurate as to which teams are worse. A crappy team at the end of last year may have a bunch of farm players to call up and may improve at the auction and during the season making last years standings less representati...
